The barber was not well accustomed to shaving customers with a straight razor. He held the blade at the wrong angle and used more of a hacking motion, as opposed to smooth strokes. The result was a case of razor burn, numerous cuts and having to clean up the shave afterwards. Honestly, it felt like he was using a dull blade, however, it was the newer style straight razors that use disposable inserts, so it was a brand new blade.

Awesome looking shops, great presentation, great atmosphere and even better people. Very professional and knowledgeable and very good hosts. Kirby Russell hooked me up with a very nice haircut, he knows what hes doing and is very surgical about getting it right and in providing information. Good guy to talk with as well.

Not your dad's barber shop, not your mom's salon. But great barbers, in a place built for men. Take walk-ins, but reservations get you in and out faster, and insure you get your preferred barber.

I have frequently shaved with traditional straight razors for years, sharpening and stropping my own blades. I have also had other professional shaves with the same style razor he used. This was, by far, the worst shave experience I've ever had.

By far the best barber shop in town. The staff is awesome, the hair cut is even better. The shop is always clean. I will not go anywhere else.
